Walled City is a village in Jolo, Sulu that is characterized by walls. These structures were constructed by the Spaniards soon after the fall of Jolo in 1876 and surrounded the Spanish garrison of Jolo. It was the smallest walled city in the world. Today the walls are crumbled due to age and neglect.
