Sonia Tandoc Domingo

Sonia Tandoc Domingo was born on 10 April 1956 in Manila. She was a dancer, teacher and choreographer.

She earned a degree in accounting from the University of the East and is a certified public accountant. She studied dance in London and eventually pursued her passion for dancing. She started ballet in 1968 with Felicitas Layag-Radaic and Marife Versoza at St. Theresa's College.

She danced with Dance Theater Philippines (DTP) and in Ballet Federation of the Philippines productions.

She taught at the St. Theresa's College School of Dance, and at the CCP Dance School in 1987-1990. She was ballet and rehearsal mistress for DTP during 1984-1989. In 1990, she became the dance and rehearsal mistress for Philippine Ballet Theater (PBT). She then became lecturer in ballet for the dance degree program of the University of the Philippines College of Music and its extension program.

She founded her own dance center in Quezon City.
