Pederalismo ng Dugong Dakilang Samahan (PDDS) is a political party in the Philippines accredited by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) in 2018. Founded by Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) Chairman Greco Belgica, the main thrust of the party is for federalism to be applied to the country.
PDDS was formed to support President Rodrigo Duterte’s push on federalism and his programs on fighting corruption and criminality. Belgica added that PDDS aims to continue the aspiration and ideals of Duterte even after he finished his term.
In 2019, its highest-ranking elected official was Governor Eduardo Gadiano of Occidental Mindoro.
In September 2021, the PDDS and PDP-Laban faction by Department of Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi entered an alliance to aid one another in the upcoming 2022 elections. The Alliance of PDP-Laban and PDDS aims to push for the continuity of Duterte’s brand of leadership – that is tough against criminals but has a genuine concern for the masses.
On 13 November 2021, PDDS presidential bet Grepor Belgica withdrew his bid so Bong Go could run in his stead. According to Go, who has earlier filed candidacy for vice presidency, it was Duterte’s wish to gun for the presidency in the upcoming elections.
