Pagsanjan Municipal Building
The Pagsanjan Municipal Building found its place in Philippine history for housing a number of important offices. In the middle of the nineteenth century, it housed the Tribunal del Gremio de Naturales, became the headquarters of the Filipino revolutionary forces in 1898 and by the American expeditionary forces in 1899 to 1903. It later served as the first public high school in Laguna for four years since 1903, and as municipal elementary school until 1911. The building finally had its final purpose, as seat of the municipal government of Pagsanjan. On March 20, 1945, the structure was destroyed, but 6 years later it was rehabilitated and reconstructed, and completed in 1955.
