Nemesio E. Caravana

Nemesio Caravana was a famous Filipino Director and actor in the era after World War II.

Born in 1913, he made two movies as an actor: one with Sampaguita Pictures, the musical Magbalik ka Hirang (Come Back, Darling); and another musical from Salumbides Pictures entitled Krisantemo (Chrysanthemum).

After WW II, he made his first directorial debut in an LVN Pictures movie, Kaaway ng Babae (Enemy of Women).

In 1953, he made a movie with Premiere Production entitled Carlos Trece (Carlos 13), a movie about a mutiny in the Philippines.

Nemesio also contributed stories and komiks scripts to Liwayway and various other Tagalog vernacular magazines.
