Maribel Aboitiz

Maribel Aboitiz was born in Manila in the year 1940. With Eddie Elejar, she performed in Madrid, Barcelona, Hong Kong, and Zurich with the Juan Tena Company. The people witnessed her distinctive elegance and attraction even in her brief dancing career in Manila.

She is a dancer who trained in ballet in the Philippines and abroad.

Performances in Manila

• In the full-evening productions of Giselle in 1961 and Swan Lake in 1962

• In the Philippine premier of "The Shades" Act of La Bayadere in 1961

• In the grand pas de daux, as the Elegant Princess Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty and as the fiery Kitri in Don Quixote
