Margarita Roxas de Ayala y Roxas
Margarita Roxas de Ayala y Roxas was the mother of Andres Soriano, one of the most important industrialists of the Philippines at the turn of the 20th century. She belonged to the prominent Roxas de Ayala Family.
Her father was Pedro Pablo Roxas, one of the richest Filipinos of the era. Her mother was Carmen de Ayala y Roxas, the daughter of Margarita Roxas de Ayala and Antonio de Ayala. She was named after her illustrious grandmother, considered the greatest Filipino businesswoman and the first Philippine philanthropist.

Her 45-year-old husband Eduardo died suddenly in Sen Sebastian, Spain, on August 19, 1912.
