Kabesang Tales

Kabesang Tales” (Cabeza Tales) a full-length play in 26 scenes written by Paul Dumol in 1975. First staged in 1975 by Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) Kalinangan Ensemble at the Dulaang Raha Sulayman, Fort Santiago, Intramuros, Manila. The play was published in Sagisag in July 1975. Dumol takes matter from Rizal's fiction and in short, effective scenes presents the growth of Tales' consciousness from submission to rebellion.
