Julie Barredo Borromeo
Julie Barredo Borromeo (Julie Borromeo-Roche) was born in Cebu City on 1 February 1941. A teacher, choreographer, and dancer, aside from dancing ballet, she also had training in modern dance, jazz, and musical comedy. She was the president, lead dancer, and choreographer of the Dance Theater Philippines that she founded with Felicitas Layag-Radaic. She was then well-known for her wide-ranging work in ballet, jazz, and stylized ethnic dance. The Julie Borromeo Dance Company that she launched has toured locally, in the United States, and Singapore, and has appeared on local and Hong Kong television.
family life
she has three dancing daughters, ana marie quirino, maricar aragon andrada and gigi aragon.
