Josefa Arnaldo-Reyes was born in Iloilo City on 19 April 1932. He was a dancer and teacher.
She started training in piano at the age of five and studied ballet when she was in college. She danced in various ballet by Ricardo and Roberta Cassell. She taught piano at the Immaculate Conception College and ballet at the Philippines Women's University. With her husband, they founded a school in Manila and formed a performing group, which went on provincial tours and appeared regularly on the television show Caltex Star Caravan. She performed the principal parts in The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Giselle, Copellia, and Pas de Quatre.
