Joseph Peter “Jopet” Sison (born 19 October 1965) is a Filipino politician and TV personality.

Sison was born on 19 October 1965 to Jose Sison, a lawyer and the one who pioneered in the first journalistic legal education in the Philippines and spread knowledge of the law to all sectors of the society up to the grassroots level. He graduated Bachelor of Law at the Manuel L. Quezon University.

He and his father are co-hosts of Ipaglaban Mo. It is a weekly dramatization of actual cases settled in the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, which meat to inform and educate the masses. As an awardee at the Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA), it has been on air for more than 15 years – one of the longest-running drama shows on Philippine TV. Its original run was from 1990 to 1999 then on 2012 to 2014, then returned on air in 2014.

The law office of the Sisons in Greenhills provided free solutions to assorted legal problems to those in need.

Sison also served as councilor of Quezon City for six years and chair of the Liberal Party’s chapter in the city. He was also the assistant general manager of the National Housing Authority (NHA) from 2001 to 2005 and president of the National Home Mortgage Corporation (NHMFC) from 2006 to 2012.

He replaced former Vice President Noli De Castro in the senatorial slate of Isko Moreno for the 2022 elections, under the Aksyon Demokratiko Party.
