Generosa De Leon (b. 1892 - d. 1962) was an educator and administrator of Centro Escolar University. She was fondly called by those who really knew her as "Maestra Osang".

It was the consensus of the students, faculty members and alumni that this self-effacing and indefatigable worker, Maestra Osang, was the moving spirit behind Centro Escolar University. A dedicated educator, she devoted fifty years of her life to the education of Filipino men and women.

Maestra Osang's educational endeavors, surprisingly, were not to be found within the confines of a classroom, before the eager eyes and within the hearing of young boys and girls. Rather, they were directed at running the affairs of a school and university whose bywords were science and virtue. For it was she who worked at every detail in the operation of a fast growing institution to the end that everything went on without a single hitch.

Maestra Osang was the registrar of the CEU and every now and then she was ready to give details on the question being asked by the students and parents, regarding the curriculum, tuition fees, requirements and many more. It was as if every detail was photographed in her mind.

She was also the treasurer of the university. And during her administration, the CEU became very stable financially. This lovable, affable, soft-spoken lady was a perfectionist all the way. For she demanded perfection from everyone in the same manner she demanded perfection from herself.

Miss De Leon had an enviable record of continuous service for the education of the youth, having completed her golden jubilee as an educator. For this singular achievement, the CEU awarded her a plaque of appreciation in a simple testimonial dinner in her honor at the Winter Garden of the Manila Hotel, also in recognition of her deep interest and dedication to education, her exceptional ability in financial administration and her service to different civic and charitable organizations, the CEU conferred upon her the degree of Master of Pedagogy.
