Domingo Diaz is a currently a Member of the Board of Directors of the state-owned Land Bank of the Philippines. He is also an appointive consultant of the Department of Budget and Management. Diaz has previously worked abroad and returned to the Philippines looking to help the country in its development. He is a graduate of Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU).


Diaz is an AB Economics (Honors Program) graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University with a Masters in Business Administration from the Amos Tuck School, Dartmouth College in USA. His MBA was conferred With Highest Distinction; he was elected an Edward Tuck Scholar and was the first foreign-recipient of the Walter A. Jacobs Memorial Prize.

Professional profile

Diaz has extensive management capabilities and experience with publicly-listed and privately-held companies. He started his career with Mobil Oil Philippines. During his stint with the company, he was assigned in New York for training in finance and controllership, and exposure in manufacturing and supply chain functions.

He is also President and Principal of Diaz and Company in the United States, focusing on doing consulting and investments work, particularly in product and technology transfer and registration of trademarks and intellectual property rights.

His other experiences include being an executive of the largest conglomerate in the Philippines, Ayala Corporation, Ayala International Pte. Ltd. (Singapore), and was responsible for various projects and subsidiaries in the region including the Island Development Bank (Brunei), other finance and insurance affiliates, and hotel, construction and housing projects in Brunei and Papua New Guinea.

In September 2010, he was appointed as a Member of the Board of Directors of Land Bank of the Philippines. He represents the agrarian reform beneficiaries.
