Crucifix is a wooden sculpture made by Philippine National Artist Napoleon Abueva in 1957. The figure's dimension is 274 cm while the cross is 4.27 x 3.66 cm. This crucifix is now housed in the Church of the Holy Sacrifice in the University of the Philippines Diliman campus.[1]


Crucifix is a double crucifix showing Christ's suffering and sacrifice It depicts Jesus Christ on the cross, with an emphasis on the stretched out body of the Savior, symbolizing his sacrifice for the redemption of humanity.[1][2]
