Philippine Sculpture is the most familiar art forms among Filipinos.Philippine sculptures have undergone changes in terms of shape, form, content as well as the mediums used. The transitional sculpture movements in the Philippines from primitive to the modern ones were influenced by foreign cultures and internal evolutions. In the midst of this transition was the 19th century art movement with Guillermo Tolentino as the hero. His most popular piece was the Bonifacio Monument.
