Casa Real Shrine
Casa Real Shrine, located at Paseo del Congreso, Plaza Rizal, Malolos, Bulacan, houses the Museum of Philippine Political History (Museo ng Kasaysayang Pampulitika ng Pilipinas), as of October 12, 2016. Having been used for different purposes since it was first built in 1580, the Casa Real Shrine served as the national printing press of the First Philippine Republic in 1899. After a renovation in 1852, the building became the municipal library.
As the current location of the Museum of Philippine Political History, which was previously located in the National Historical Commission of the Philippines building on TM Kalaw St., Ermita, Manila, Casa Real Shrine has on display relics from the First Philippine Republic, memorabilia of Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, a printing press of the Malolos Republic, memorabilia of the 21 Women of Malolos, and souvenirs from some of the wealthy families of Malolos.
