Ana Maria L. Harper, also known as Bambi (short for Bambina), is a columnist of the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Being an avid cultural observer, her column entitled, "Sense & Sensibility" focuses on the history and various traditions of the Philippines. She was given the Gintong Bai Award in 2005 for her work in cultural preservation.

She was secretary of the Committee on Monuments and Sites of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and was the first president of the Heritage Conservation Society. She campaigned actively against the light-and-sound history presentation at the Intramuros produced by then Department of Tourism Secretary Richard Gordon. Harper claimed that the presentation was a distorted version of Philippine history.

She was named one of the people you should know as listed on the Philippine Tatler's Who's Who of the Philippines.
