Balingasay is a village in Bolinao, Pangasinan. In an archaeological site in the area, high-fired ceramics dating to the 13th to 15th centuries were discovered. These discoveries were associated with local pottery, gold ornaments, and bronze and iron artifacts. A total of 24 earthenware pieces excavated, and not one has a globular form, which is common among such artifacts discovered in other sites. The pieces of pottery bear similarities to other Asian ceramics. The vessels came as bowls with ring feet, two eared jarlets, footed dishes, plates, and burial jars.
