Babangon Ako't Dudurugin Kita is a komiks novel serialized in the pages of Darna Komiks in 1991[1]. It was written by Gilda Olvidado and illustrated by Mar Santana[2].

Plot

Babangon Ako't Dudurugin Kita tells the story of Salve, whose ambition in life is to simply love her husband Alfred whole-heartedly by serving him and providing him with all of his needs. Alfred is an ambitious businessman, but he could not depend on Salve to help him with his business since Salve was not able to finish college. He eventually meets Via, a rich and attractive socialite, who became friends with the couple and offered to help Alfred's business by becoming his partner. As Alfred's business grew, he became very occupied by work, often neglecting his wife who was toiling day and night with managing the household. His relationship with Via became more and more involved, as he sees in Via beauty, intelligence and aggressiveness - the very traits he wants in a woman. Alfred has been spending so much time with Via that there were rumors of an affair; even Salve's parents noticed that in parties, Via is seen beside Alfred entertaining guests while Salve was being a martyr, acting like there is nothing going on, managing the kitchen. Eventually, Alfred has become so smitten with Via that together, they crafted a wicked plan to finally eliminate Salve's presence from their lives. Their biggest mistake is that Salve actually lived the ordeal. Now with an underground syndicate, she'll turn the tables on them.
