Arlene Tolibas

Arlene Tolibas (1966- 3 June 2021) was a Filipino actress-director. Before she was discovered as an actress, she was a floor director of the television shows and awards night of award-giving bodies such as Gawad Urian, Star Awards, Film Academy of the Philippines, and Box Office Entertainment Awards of the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation.
Tolibas starred in a number of comedy films and television projects such as Alabang Girls (1992), Hiling (1998), Tarot (2009), and She’s The One (2013) among others.
Her life story was featured in GMA-7's Magpakailanman in August 2013. She was portrayed by Sunshine Dizon in an episode entitled "Isang Linggong Pag-ibig."
On 3 June 2021, she died of cardiac arrest. She was 55. Celebrities took to social media to express their grief over her passing.
