Andrew “Bibot” Gotianun, Jr. was a Filipino business leader and vice chairman of Filinvest Land, Inc. He was the eldest son and namesake of the late patriarch of the family behind the Filinvest Development Corporation (FDC). The Filinvest Group is a diversified conglomerate that includes banking (East West Banking Corporation), property (Filinvest Land Inc. and Filinvest Alabang Inc.), and power (FDC Utilities Inc.).

He entered the family enterprise through the Filinvest’s property business. He started as a project manager in 1975 then eventually built the company from the ground up. He held executive positions for Operations and Land Development throughout the years. He became the company’s director in 1989 and eventually the vice chairman of the Board of Filinvest Land, Inc. and served until 2020.

Gotianun was also the Director of Filinvest Hospitality Corporation since 2011 and FDC Utilities, Inc. since 2009. He was instrumental in growing the Filinvest group to one of the country’s largest conglomerates.

He was also a founding member and treasurer of Health Futures Foundation, Inc. (HFI) with former Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Dr. Jaime Galvez Tan and wife Rebecca together with their friends. HFI is a nonstock, nonprofit, nongovernment organization which manages health and social development programs in marginalized communities in the country. Amid the pandemic, they helped set up clinics to help remote communities gain access to healthcare.

Gotianun passed away at the age of 69 after his return from overseas for the treatment of a malignant illness. He is survived by his mother Mercedes and siblings Jonathan, chairman of FDC and FLI; Josephine, president and CEO of FDC and FLI; and Michael, a director of both FDC and FLI and vice president at FDC.
