Acocolao

Acocolao, now Paniqui town in Tarlac, was the witness to the embrace of Sultan Ali Mudin I to Christianity on April 29,1750 and assumed the name Don Fernando Ali Mudin I. His baptism was told and re-told several times, and now known as Paniqui Binyagan Festival and celebrated solemnly in his honor by the church dignitaries and high government officials from Manila and to the towns people who witnessed it.
