Celebrity weddings have always left commoners swooning over the romantic details and the cost associated with it, without regard to how long the marriage would last. The year 2011's list of celebrity weddings involve popular couples who have been together for some time or celebrities marrying someone outside their circle. Either way, all of them hope for happily ever after.

The two met in the set of Enteng Kabisote (2004) where they became close friends. By 2006, they have gone out on group dates but became an official couple on 9 September 2009, Hermosa's birthday. The wedding date was special as it was the groom's 27th birthday.
The wedding was held at the Club Balay Isabel in Talisay, Batangas in the afternoon. It was a Christian ceremony that was attended by the whole Sotto clan while the Hermosa family flew all the way from Canada.
