The Virgin Labfest 3

The Virgin Labfest 3 is a showcase of trilogies (a group of three literary works with related theme) on stage. These trilogies are untested, untried and unstaged plays. This was presented at the CCP in 28 June to 8 July 2007. The production was a joint venture of of the CCP, Tanghalang Pilipino, and the Writer's Bloc Inc. with the support of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and the Japan Foundation, Manila.

Five trilogies are presented. Its theme explores from family ties to gender to the realities of the world today. The trilogies featured in here are International Night with plays by Narumol Thammapruksa of Thailand, Haresh Sharma of Singapore and Japan's Yoji Sakate. Followed by Madadramang Pamilya – plays on household drama by Debbie Ann Tan, Dennis Teodosio and Lani Montreal. XX and X, written by Auggie Arcenas, Allan Lopez and George Vail Kabrisante as included in the list of festival focuses on the unconventional and imaginary aspects of the world we live in. Then, by Ang Pagdadalaga at Iba Pang Rebelasyon , works on forbidden loves and sexual desires, These are written by Arlo de Guzman, Layeta Bucoy and Argel Tuason. Next, is Children's Play by Rene Villanueva, Niel De Mesa and James Cansanay. Finally, the Identity and Politics has works by Job Pagsibigan, Dennis Teodosio and Rogelio Braga.

The directors are from the most of the major Philippine Theater Companies - Jose Estrella of Dulaang UP, Dennis Marasigan of Tanghalang Pilipino, New Voice Company's Rito Asilo, PETA's Khryss Adalia, the UE Drama Company's Erick Castro, Dulaang Talyer's John Abul, Jaime del Mundo and Tuxqs Rutaquio.
