Ten Outstanding Policewomen of the Philippines

The Ten Outstanding Policewomen of the Philippines (TOPWP) is an annual award given the Zonta Club of Makati Paseo de Roxas since 2002. The TOPWP recognizes deserving policewomen for outstanding accomplishments in the police service in the fields of special operations, criminalistics, police community relations, investigation, and administrative management.

For 2005, the awardees are PCInsp.Fe Quibol, PSInsp. Marilou Aboloc of the Women’s Crisis and Protection Center, PO3 Fe Polas of Baguio City Police Station, Police Community Relations category; PO3 Mayla Perla Gavina of Pangasinan Police Provincial Office and PO2 Yolanda Maberit of Palawan Police Provincial Office, Investigation category; PSInsp. Rhea Santos of the Police Anti-Crime Emergency Response (PACER), Intelligence category; SPO2 Erma Jabal, also of PACER, Special Operations category; PCInsp. Sotera Macatangay of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Women and Children Complaint Office (CIDG-WACCO), Administrative Management category; PSInsp. Joy Tomboc, Human Resource Development category; and PSInsp. Lina Avelino of the Crime Laboratory Group, Police Regional Office, Region 11, Criminalistic category.

For 2006, the TOPWP awardees are Superintendent Evangeline L Candia, Manila Police District; Superintendent Lilian P Castillo, Manila Police District; SInsp Ma. Ivy P Castillo, Criminal Investigation & Detection Group; CInsp Emma I Galero, Crime Laboratory, Makati City; SInsp Flor E Mirasol, Camarines Sur PPO, PRO-5; SInsp Jhoanna P Rosales, Regional Public Info Office, PRO-3; SInsp Ma. Cecilia R Detablan, Rgnl Intel & Inves Div, PRO-6; CInsp Anita L Araullo, Manila Police District; PO3 Rosalie G Aglanang, Sta. Rosa Police Station, Laguna; and Inspector Rubenie B Grandeza, Ayuy Police Station, Iloilo.
