Ana Marie Garbo, popularly known as Sfazhiva, is the twelfth Hall of Famer at the reality talent show Talentadong Pinoy of TV5. She showed off her talent in pole dancing.

Early life

Since high school, Ana's passion has always been about dancing. She was a member of a dance troupe which actively performed in and out of her school. However, her parents were not that supportive of her. She decided to skip school and concentrated on her dancing. Since she had more free time, she learned pole dancing through the help of her troupe mates.

While learning the art of pole dancing, she realized how hard it is. She narrated that one could get battered and bruised during practices. But she added that such hardships would only make one more eager to learn. She also said that such physical pain is nothing compared to what she has experienced emotionally.

Many people looked down on her during the time of her unexpected pregnancy and say that she made a big mistake. Instead of feeling sorry for herself, she became more determined to practice pole dancing and pursue her goals for the sake of her daughter. Her daughter has become her sole source of inspiration.

Rise to fame

She tried her luck in joining Talentadong Pinoy. After eight consecutive weeks of winning, she was hailed as the twelfth Hall of Famer. She won a total of P 500,000. She danced together with her husband as they portrayed Malakas at Maganda (Adam and Eve).

She was one of the eight Hall of Famers who competed at the Talentadong Pinoy Battle of the Champions (Season 2) which was held live on 12 and 13 March 2011 at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City. She lost to eventual Ultimate Talentado visual artist Joseph Erwin Valerio.

Ana keeps herself busy by teaching pole dancing. Actress Ciara Sotto is one of her students. Her life story would be featured soon on TV5's Star Confessions.
