[edit] Plot
Elmo, Waldo and Macario have been best friends since childhood but their friendship is almost lost when Waldo and Macario fall for the same woman, Lorna. However, Elmo manages to reconcile the two and Macario steps aside for Waldo. Waldo's feelings for Lorna are overshadowed by his greed though. He decides to rob a pawnshop, but gets caught and sent to prison.
When Waldo gets out, he plans to rob a gasoline station and forces Elmo to go with him. They succeed in their plans, but Elmo refuses his share of the money, and Marietta, Elmo's love, convinces him to turn himself in to the police. Waldo gets angry and threatens to kill Elmo. Macario, now a policeman, intervenes and is stabbed by Waldo. Waldo and Elmo fight each other with knives, until Waldo falls on some ice and is injured.
