Philippine Studies

Philippine Studies is a field of specialization and a major subject or discipline of study of the Philippines. It is meant to provide a scholarly understanding of Philippine realities by using resources found in disciplines such as anthropology, sociology, politics and history. These disciplines provide the intellectual scaffolding for locating the Filipino subject.
