National Center for Mental Health , is formerly called the Insular Psychopatic Hospital established on December 17,1928 for the treatment of mentally ill patients. The sprawling 46.7 hectare complex consists of 35 pavilions with a bed capacity of 4,200. At present, it is treating an average of 3200 patients daily. National Center for Mental Health is located at Nuevo de Pebrero St. Mandaluyong City 1553.

Dr. Bernardino A. Vicente is the Chief Officer of the Hospital, and Ms. Clarita A. Aguilar is the MPA, Administrator.
