Story and Development

Two brothers, a soldier and a New People's Army rebel, estranged and thrust into contrasting worlds finally meet and get into a secret accord, but are eventually led by fate to choose between fulfilling the duty they have vowed to honor and protecting their own family.

Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin generally received positive reviews. Leo Bukas assistant director of the People's Tonight commented: "I can't remember of how long it has been since I've been deeply moved by a soap opera." Writer from Manila Bulletin Online, Alex Brosas said, "It's so beautiful and epic." TV and film actress Pokwang also shared, "It made me cry. It features all the best actors and actresses." E-Live host, Ogie Diaz "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin is like a movie." AFP Spokesperson Commander, CRSAFP, Bgen. Jose Z. Mabanta Jr. exclaimed, "We are recommending that everyone watches this show."
