Masinloc Coal Power Plant

The Masinloc Coal Power Plant is located in Masinloc, Zambales and has a rated capacity of 600 MW. It was won by Masinloc Power Partners Co. Ltd. at a bid price of US$930 million. The company plans to invest another US$ 1 billion to expand the capacity by another 600 MW. [1]

Fuel Consumption

For 2008, it is expected to consume half of an estimated purchase of 1.67 million tonnes of coal intended for Calaca and Masinloc coal power plants. [2]
