Luminous Cross of Grace Sanctuary
The name Luminous Cross of Grace came from a Marian devotee of Indian descent who received an inspiration at an adoration chapel. She was then given instructions to find an artist to interpret her inspiration and from there, the vision of a sanctuary for Catholics was realized. Aia Halili, the designer of the shrine, was instructed that the sanctuary be made 120 feet high to represent the 12 tribes of Israel. The sanctuary is made up of stainless steel and mirrors. There are stations of the cross as one goes up the sanctuary representing the struggles and narrow path to salvation.
