Template:Dated prod Template:Bio-notability Jonathan Tolentino Gamalinda was born in Manila, Raised by father, Marco Trinidad Gamalinda and mother Melinda Tolentino Gamalinda. He is taking up Advertising arts at the University of Santo Tomas in España, Manila. He is currently the Editor in Chief of HIRAYA, the College of Fine Arts and Design's official magazine. Gamalinda is also the Assistant Art Director of the Varsitarian, the official publication of the University of Santo Tomas, where he has published more than 250 illustrations. He is the editorial cartoonist of CBCP Monitor, The official newspaper of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines. He was Creative Director for Association of Catholic Universities of the Philippines (ACUP). Gamalinda was commissioned to do layouts for UST's office of the Secretary General of UST, and ACADEMIA, the official international bulletin of UST. He is the co-chair of UST's Pautakan 2007 held every February. He won several digital art competitions at UST. Gamalinda is planning to take up Cultural Heritage after graduation.
