Jograd dela Torre (born 13 April 1960) is a popular singer, composer, and actor during the 1980s. He became popular for his power ballad, Pag-ibig ko'y Metal (My Love is Metal). He is currently the president of the Talent and Artists Managers' Association (TAMA).

Music

Dela Torre is one of the earliest heavy metal singers in the Philippines and he has composed and performed numerous power ballads about love. His raspy voice and saccharine lyrics has influenced succeeding power balladeers like Renz Verano and Jerome Abalos.

Dela Torre is also a veteran actor and comedian. He appeared in the following films and TV shows:

Advocacies

In 2005, dela Torre campaigned against the discrimination of around 197,000 Filipino singers and performers in Japan. Dela Torre pointed out unfair labor policies in Japan as the cause of the problem.

On 22 October 2009, dela Torre performed in a benefit concert for the victims of Tropical Storm Ondoy, which was held in Long Beach, California and was headlined by Kuh Ledesma.
