Hilong Talilong is a children's storybook written by Eugene Evasco and illustrated by Mark Ramsel N. Salvatus III. It won first place on the 2000 Palanca Awards for Children's Short Story in Filipino. The book is published by LG&M Corporation, an affiliate of the country's biggest educational publisher, Vibal Publishing.


About the Book

Hilario is a boy who is hyper in school even during classes. Then his aunt decides to help him get through his ADHD. Find out how Hilario changed and became an honor pupil.

Hilong Talilong was awarded first place on the 2000 Palanca Awards on the Filipino division for Children's Short Story. The book is part of the Golden Salakot Stories.


Launching

The book was launched during the 22nd National Children's Book Day in June 19, 2005. Other books were launched together with Hilong Talilong and prizes were also handed out to children's books writers and illustrators.
