Fujitsu Computer Products Corporation of the Philippines (FCPP) was established on February 1, 1995. It became the 65th. overseas subsidiary of Fujitsu Limited, a leading provider of internet-focused information technology solutions and one of the world's leading manufacturers of Hard Disk Drives.

Considering the need for a clean environment, FCPP established its factory in an 8.4 hectare land amidst the pristine sorroundings of Carmelray Industrial Park in Canlubang, Calamba, Laguna. Using the latest technologies, FCPP mass produced not only Hard Disk Drives (HDD) but its key components like the Magneto-Resistive (MR) Heads and Head Stack Assemblies utilizing Fujitsu's leading edge production systems.

Considered by PEZA as a Pioneering activity, FCPP expanded rapidly in its first 5 years of operation exporting its products to the United States, Europe, Japan and Southeast Asian countries. Its contribution to the Philippine economy quickly earned recognition receiving from the Philippine Export Development Council (PEDC) Top Exporter Awards in 1998 for registering more than US$100 Million exports and in 2000 for exports of more than US$500 Million. FCPP also received Outstanding Exporter Awards from PEZA in 1998, 2000 and 2001.

In addition, FCPP was also accorded the Hall of Fame Award by PEZA for obtaining the Outstanding Employer Award for 3 consecutive years (1998, 1999 and 2000).
