Career and Contributions
Dr. Campos is famous for her research studies on cotton, which led to the development of technology to speed up cotton production to a relatively short period of three years. She also performed studies on the sunflower, a very promising source of oil and livestock feed.
In recognition of her achievements, Dr. Campos was awarded PhilAAS Gregorio Y. Zara Scientists Award (1973), Ayala Award (1974) and as one of the outstanding Filipino Scientist's Presidential Award for Public Service (1976) and Woman of the World Award (1983).
