Fidel Purisima was a former Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines (January 19, 1998 - October 26, 2001) appointed during the Ramos Administration.

He was a graduate of Bachelor of Laws (cum laude) from the Far Eastern University in 1953 and passed the Bar the same year with a rating of 90.25%.
