Jose Sixto Raphael Gonzales Dantes III (b: 2 August 1980) is a Filipino actor, model, and neophyte director. He was recently named as one of the 25 Sexiest Men in the World by E! Entertainment. He is known for leading man roles including Sergio of the Filipino adaptation of Marimar.

Dantes was initially a model appearing in various print and TV advertisements. In 1995, he debuted as an actor in GMA's show T.G.I.S. (Thank God its Sabado). He was paired with Filipina actress Antoinette Taus. He then played major roles in movies Honey My Love So Sweet, I'm Sorry My Love, and television series Anna Karenina.
In 2002, Dantes was paired with actress Tanya Garcia in the primetime drama series Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga. The success of the pairing led to the primetime drama Twin Hearts in 2003. Dantes also became the host of various Binibining Pilipinas pageants and GMA's reality talent search, Starstruck.
From 2003-2006 he was recognized for various roles in successful movies including Magkapatid and Pangarap Ko Ang Ibigin Ka. He also played a significant role in the fantasy themed TV series in the Philippines, Encatandia.
In 2007, he played the lead male role in the Filipino adaptation of the Mexican telenovela Marimar with actress Marian Rivera. Their successful team up earned him succeeding lead roles in primetime series Dyesebel (2008), and Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa aking Tadyang (2009).
Dantes was named one of the most eligible bachelors in the country and one of the sexiest men in the world. He is currently an image model for Bench Underwear and appeared in the Bench Blackout Underwear and Denim Fashion Show.
