David “Dave” Fabros is a well-travelled celebrity photographer, stylist, and writer. His professional career has been honed through years of involvement in media, entertainment, and showbusiness.

Fabros finished his secondary education at Torres High School in Manila in 1982. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from Ateneo de Manila University with a full scholarship in 1986. Early during his stay at the University, Fabros started to engage himself with photography and theater. In 1993, he took up a course in Japanese Language Studies at the University of Southern California for four months.

Fabros has been affiliated for a total of 11 years with ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation where he has served as executive producer, talent development manager, director, and writer. On a freelance basis, he has been involved in various productions, launch events, concerts and stage presentations with various corporate entities. He also served as an associate instructor at Ateneo de Manila University and taught Television Production from July to September 1990.

After more than a decade in the business, Fabros issued his comprehensive portfolio comprising the best of his works. Two issues of Star Magic Catalogs featuring his photographic compilations of top celebrities in the country were published by ABS-CBN Publishing in 2006 and 2007. Piolo: Believing, a coffee table book published by WikiPilipinas featuring the pictorial biography of Piolo Pascual, is one of his latest projects.

He specializes in portrait, glamour, corporate and commercial photography. His clients include Sony, Red Ribbon Bakeshop, China Bank, Coppertone, ABS-CBN Star Magic, Studio 23, Blue Soda, Hawk Bags, Max's, Il Ponticello, PPizza Hut Bistro, HCG Bath Fixtures, Jim Maliksi and Associates Architecture (San Francisco, USA), Metro Magazine, Star Studio Magazine, Speed Magazine, OFW Pinoystar(Singapore), DP Magazine (Japan), and Raffles Movers (Singapore). Since August 2007, he has been working with Adventure Learning Channel (Australia, Singapore and Shanghai) as a Still Photographer and Production Stylist for its banner TV program, Adventure Girls ( a TV Reality Travelogue telecast over Shanghai Media Group, Sundays at 6PM). Aside from this, Fabros also does photostyling and pictorial direction; and graphic design and art direction for print and television. At present, Fabros has his own studio in Makati while maintaining client-based shoots in Singapore and United States West Coast. In between photo shoots, he also works as part-time writer for Manila, Singapore, Japan, United Arab Emirates, and United States.
