Coritha is a Filipino singer-songwriter of folk and country songs who became popular in the 70s and 80s. Her biggest hits include "Oras na," "Lolo Jose," and "Sierra Madre." Coritha was the first musical artist in the history of popular Filipino music to experiment with Philippine native instruments. She was also the first musical performer and recording artist to work with blind musicians.
