Charito Solis

Rosario Violeta H. Solis, popularly known as Charito Solis is a renowned award-winning Filipina actress. She was born in Manila on October 6, 1935 and she died of heart attack on January 9, 1998.

Charito's dream is to become a flight attendant with the hope of touring around the world but this did not materialize. When she was 19, her uncle, Feliciano Constantino to Narcisa de Leon, the matriarch and founder of LVN Studio. Her career became a success and she emerged as one of the famous and most sought-after actresses in the Philippines. She is tagged as the Philippine's Meryl Streep and is the first actress to be acclaimed as FAMAS Best Actress Hall of Fame.
