Balangay Festival is a month long celebration commemorating the historical city of Butuan. Balangay Festival activities include Mutya Hong Butuan Presentation Night held at FSUU Gym, Balik Butuan Luau Party at Almont Inland Resort, BalikButuan Usiba Hong Kaliwat held at Children’s Playground City Sports Complex, Grand Balangay Boat Float Parade, BalikButuan Duom Hong Pasidungog and the BalikButuan River Cruise.
