Asociacion Hispano-Filipina

The Asociación Hispano-Filipina was an organization of Spanish and Filipinos during the Spanish colonial Philippines. It was conceived as early as July 1888 but was inaugurated on 12 January 1889. The association was divided into three sections: the political section headed by Marcelo H. del Pilar; the literary section under Mariano Ponce; and the sports section under Tomas Arejola.
