This article is about the Katipunan faction in Cavite. For other usages, see Magdalo (Disambiguation).
The Magdalo flag used during the Philippine Revolution.

The Magdalo refers to the faction of the Katipunan chapter in Cavite, mostly made up of ilustrados of that province, which supported General Emilio Aguinaldo as leader of the Philippine Revolution. They argued for the replacement of the Katipunan by a revolutionary government. Majority, if not all, of the civil officers and military officials of the Filipino Republic came from this group.

The Magdalo faction in Cavite carried out the first coup d’etat in Philippine history when they arrested Andres Bonifacio, the Supremo of the Katipunan, and his brother Procopio and had them executed at Mt. Buntis, Maragondon, Cavite on 10 May 1897.
