Heidi Emily Eusebio-Abad is an author of children's books and an Associate Professor at the College of Arts and Letters of the University of the Philippines.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English (major in Imaginative Writing) and Master of Education with focus on Special Education from the University of the Philippines-Diliman.

She teaches grammar, composition, language and literature courses and also handles creative writing classes for children and young adults. Her first book for children was Abot Mo Ba ang Tainga Mo? and it won the Gintong Aklat Award for Children's Literature in 2002. She is a member of the Kuting or the Kuwentista ng mga Tsikiting, an organization of children's book authors. Some of her other publications include Of Jars and Weaves, Terraces and Beads: Icons of Our Living Culture, Be Your Own English Teacher! Spelling, Polliwog's Wiggle, Colorless Rainbow, Magnificent Pearl, and Ball of Wax.

At present, she is happily married and has four children.
