Ambulancia is a Philippine independent short film about Filipino ambulance drivers who possess superstitious beliefs. A mere 15 minutes long, the movie features Alan Paule in the lead role. It is directed and produced by Richard Legaspi, who also wrote the screenplay. It has been screened at film festivals in the Philippines and abroad, and has won several awards locally.

Synopsis

Some Filipino ambulance drivers express the belief that running over stray animals in the streets on the way to the hospital will save the life of a dying patient. One of these drivers, played by Alan Paule, puts this superstition to the test with a terrible twist in desperate circumstances. A gripping and disastrous course of events then unfolds.
