Hello Mindy! My question has something to do with a famous Filipino scholar, Jorge Bocobo. I have heard that one of his many jobs when he was still alive is a professor. Is it true that he was the most strict professor in the University of the Philippines during his time?
--Bianca

Hey Bianca! Jorge Bocobo was not only a professor but he was actually the fifth president of the University of the Philippines and you may expect why he is strict in implementing rules. He has been known as a man of discipline and morals. And as a result of his desire to urge students to return to simple but basic virtues, he suspended a whole batch of students for violating the dance regulations. He believed in not only doling out knowledge but imparting values and principle. He may be strict but there definitely is more to this great man than a list of laws to follow. Wikipilipinas has articles that would satisfy your interest about this great scholar.
